Question put to me by a woman who wants her wall to wall wool carpeting cleaned.

I’m not sure Interlink (local chem pimp) has such a product.

ask her to define what she means by "green"?

👍
That's the way to determine if they're knowledgeable or simply a pack following clueless mOOk riding a marketing trend

then show her a couple options you have

I won't name him/her but I had a certain TM manufacturer tell me I need to stop wasting my money on chems and just buy Purple Power from autozone. He/She said that's all they used when He/she ran a carpet cleaning biz.

Interlink stores should have their Green Balance products. They work better than you might expect considering the content restrictions. The stuff that keeps a product from being green is the same stuff you don't want on wool, so you'll find them safe for that carpet as well.

Two things we can't escape in today's marketplace:

(1) Customers with health/environmental concerns

(2) Customers who worship their pets

Procyon "Extreme Carpet Pre-Spray". Carries both Green Seal and "WoolSafe" labels.

Green Balance is a more "industry friendly" alternative to Green Seal. Interlink carries some.
One Earth- "Rug and upholstery cleaner."- Carries the Eco-Logo label Similar to Green Balance.

Have some labels printed up with the word "Green" and slap them on any of your jugs to show them. Because on any product label is that liability clause that excludes them in case there were a problem.

Just put the lettering in green, that's all they want to see.

y Purple Power from autozone.

over priced pee water garbage .
So is Castrol purple crAp
Zep Industrial Purple has the strongest butyl concentration consumers can buy

straight butyls alone aren't all that great for CC'ing though...just "OK"
You need the other suds 'n stuff the better formulators mix in for a great pre-spray

me personally, I preferred ProChem to do that for me .
You could rule the world with little more than Ultrapac, Powerburst and Dry Slurry as your everyday synthetic carpet needs

I've used it plenty and see no problem with it.
Why not use it? (The PH?)

And I rinse on the acid side.

Prespray with sodium bicarbonate and rinse with vinegar.

If she questions the green effect you can drink both.
