Is the Vortex still in production?

I have noticed that there is no chatter about the vortex anymore on this site., Why the secret room ? What's so special about the vortex that it can't be talked about in the open ? I have a big truck, can I get in ? Mine is reliable and doesn't need a backup maybe I could give advice.
