I don’t really care about looks, reliability and serviceability are the things that matter most to me.
I want both. I want a professional appearance too. I know it has little to do with function but I feel it is representative of the quality of the build. I want anyone that sees the unit to realize its not some garage build.

Could you just slap components on a fame and it work as well? Sure but it doesn't instill any confidence to the casual observer.

It would be nice for evening and night work. I like it. :cool:

I'm aware of several "pretty" truckmounts in the dustbins of our industry.

DEPENDABILITY trumps everything else.

I agree however there are several dependable truck mounts that look like sin being sold too.

Ugly runs clear to the bone. :winky:
