Everyone was getting sick...everyone was getting old...
Everyone was dying...
In a dystopian future of our lifetime - I was walking the streets and people were fallen... Yet I saw some of us that couldn't get sick. (sort of I Am Legend the movie)
All of us were carpet cleaners. In the past when we all started using encap solutions, we were infused through our skin contact with encap polymers. Nobody knew that the longterm effect will be, that all that polymer that was attaching to our cells and make them super resistant to everything- will cause us to be borderline super heros.
Polymers became part of us...but only the fresh undiluted spills on our hands were good. People -that are now sick- were seen crawling around abandoned office buildings licking carpets in hopes for contracting encap but it wasn't helping. The dry dust that was never vacuumed out and accumulated over time, was just that: dust.
Fresh encap was outlawed long ago and only could be obtained in extremely dangerous places that used to be interlink supply houses but now were shuttered down dark places...torn down banners from long ago that celebrated the announcement of interlink being bought by Sapphire Scientific which was owned by Podesta Bros (only employed kids for some weird reason)
I had a feeling Sapphire Scientific was just a research project into the polymer infusion by the gob'ment .
Then I heard REM Everybody Hurts playing
Then I woke up.
I need to wear gloves more often.
