We work hard at doing a good job every day. It's really upsetting when I see a competitor stoop to such a low level and pull this kind of crap!! I don't mind friendly competition but this is garbage!!! We were able to contact Google and the reviews have been removed, so I am thankful for that. What would you do?

anyway maybe give Modernistic a heads up that it happened and you don't appreciate it. Might put that guy in the unemployment line where he should be. I doubt it but...

matter a fact i know Tom very well and will vouch that
i'm sure he would not do anything close to this......
AND i am fairly sure that Bob doesn't know how to even turn a computer on.....

a rogue employee.....maybe!

I agree with Bob. The Modernistic ownership and management are good guys. I would talk to them. I'm 99.9% sure they know nothing of this, and wouldn't sanction it. Also, they are suppliers, and I would guess a few of those guys could even be their customers.

This is why suppliers shouldn't be in the carpet cleaning business. We have at least 2 here that are both suppliers and cleaners. I usually don't buy from either unless I have to. Why would I want to support my competition financially?

I tried to support a local guy who was starting up a supply company too. Also built a rug station.

I was happy to have somewhere to run to last minute but he's moved on.

I have no competition but myself.

I am glad you could get it fixed Brian. And I hope that kind of behavior can be punished somehow (and I am not talking karma.)

People that are willing to do something like that are real low life.

Seeing the thread is somewhat sidetracked.

Gennys #1 girl had a guy knock on her double wide door at the park tonight. Offered cleaning her house and get her name in a $1000 drawing. Can clean carpets and have them dry in 40 minutes and 92.3 percent cleaner too.

Then he mentioned Molly maids and she let him have it. Said she works for the clean team the best cleaners in Michigan and she hates Molly maids they suck. And her husband Steve is the best steam cleaner too!

Guess the guy frowned and slumped away lol. He sounds desperate.probably picked up a few jobs there though.

I agree in letting Modernistic know what a jackass they have employed, and that it makes Modernistic look very bad.
