I got a couple of young fellows cleaning carpet, sent them home at 3;30 when it hit 106 here. Rescheduled a couple of jobs with the blessing of folks who don't want to deal with anything in this heat. Tell you what, the inside of the van could fry eggs with the kero burner firing! I'm more concerned with frying an engine than anything else.
I will go out about 7 pm to do an empty house - hopefully it will be much cooler.
Wouldn't even think about cleaning air ducts in this heat though.
I have to laugh about folks whining about this heat, I used to work in the pot room of an aluminum smelter, when you walked outside you would shiver in the summer heat. I had to put on a jacket if it was below 85.
