Ian took a path south of us. We were fortunate in our area. No damage to speak of. Top wind speeds were around 70mph winds and no storm surge. We have 9 old oak trees on our property and expected to come home to some serious damage. All we had were a few snapped branches to clean up / no damage to our house. But down south of us is a totally different story. This storm was catastrophic. It's heart-breaking to consider what those families are now facing!

I was in the Florida Keys right after Hurricane Irma. Those shots look just like what I experienced there!

There were mountains of trash in the Keys when I went down! It took them a couple of years just to get it all removed!

Trailers have a quality check when they are drug down the highway 80 mph! Stick built never get checked like that! Really don’t matter. Storms can get anything it wants.
