Things are getting busier with spring here. Check your wand jets! I have a habit of letting them go for a while, but even the SS jets need replacing. And don't use a hard needle to try and clear your jets. I learned that the hard way by using a needle and distorting the spray! I just replaced my wand jets and the RX20 jets. What a difference!

Was using my Greenhorn stair tool today and it seemed the spray was not right....jets maybe 2 yrs old. Not over used. Maybe time to change the jets? Seemed to be hitting above the glide somewhat.....

I remember the older Steamway flood jet wands were brass. They didn't seem to cog much, because the holes were so big. But brass was damaged easily. Seems like the SS jets can be worn and damaged easily if you try poking pins in the holes. Brush 'em from the outside, and use a welding tip cleaner to clean out the hole. I'd have to say that my tips were more than 2 years old.....much older.
