Has anyone had an issue with the Jondon QD leaking nonstop?
I have always used the light blue version of this most suppliers have and never had an issue with leaking. The first one I ordered had a piece of metal inside that wouldn't allow the male end to connect and jondon replaced it after the guy more or less called me a liar on the phone. So I get the new one and finally get around to trying it and this thing dumps out water like a faucet.
I called Jondon and asked about this and was told nobody els has had this problem and it could be the male side causing the problem. So after a couple weeks I decided to get a few male ends from Jondon and try them and it still leaks.

Anyone ever had issues with this? I have the Jondon female without the plastic and it works fine

Oh crap, we have a bunch on the way, wish I'd known.

If so, Jon Don please fix ASAP!!

I was hoping for a higher quality option after BP quit using Foster and went with a chinese qd for their safe-connect.

Lee the only QD's from Jondon I have had problems with are the ones with the plastic around them. It's not a drip its a full stream of 220 water running out.. lol

Unlike the light blue ones that connect to just about anything the dark blue ones from JD wont allow nothing other than the males they sell to connect.

ps. I'm not looking for a refund or bashing JD in any way I was just wondering if others have had an issue with the QD's since the guy on the phone thinks I am the only one with an issue.

If you want them I will mail the two I have back so they can see them. They are nothing but junk and I have no use for them

Sounds like a good idea Larry. That way they can see for themselves.

same here
they weren't from JonDon , they came from an Interlink affiliate...donno if they're the same or not

but they've never lasted long before they start leaking .
I quit using and gave up on them some time ago

Yes, I have had a constant reoccuring problems with QC. I just replace them when they start to leak, put them in a special coffee can for spares.
I have tryed to take them apart and rebuild them with the o rings with no good results then back into the coffee can. What I have found to works
is when I replace my pressure hoses I put them back on then sell them to the hacks on craigs list and go buy new. This help recycle the brass
and reduces my replacement cost for new one's

I bought a few of those plastic covered QD's, I find they leak far sooner than normal ones.
Think they heat up too much with the plastic?

I use to buy the o rings but have not been able to do that from the supplier and have not looked into it at the local hardware store

I had been getting them from JonDon but got one from Bristor to try and see if they work any better
