I would like to say THANK YOU to All of the team at PMF
My wife Melissa, my son Justyn, and I would like to thank Matt for giving us a tour of the PMF building.
Matt introduced us to so many people, there is no way I can remeber there names I was just really in shock at how much they do and how well things were done there.
This may sound odd but what really shocked me the most was how many women that worked there, I don't want to sound wierd but I was just really taken back. I just never really thought that they could be excepted, I always have been worried if something were to happen to me, what would happen to my wife, and with the filter, our upcoming wand, and what ever else we may come up with.
I know that Tim my fabricator would with out a doubt help her continue, but I just really got a great feeling when I was at PMF they would with out a doubt continue to help her if she were to need it just for the fact that they suport them there, and they fit in with some very important parts of all the fabrication process of there tools.....THAT WAS JUST REALLY AWESOME.
Matt showed us around and explained all the machines that help them produce some of the best tools in this industry. It was also really neat to see that they not only make tools for themselves but many other top manufactures of this industry......This just told me that even though they make these tools for others they are very HONEST and have gained some major trust from theses others to let PMF make them for them, and only for them.....NO BACK STABING, NO STEALING of IDEAS....as they could easily do so....PMF is making the tools for them.
Matt and I both have a concept and it was kinda funny as I was asking questions about a paticular idea I have......It was obvious that I was asking curtain questions.....and he totally knew why I was asking those questions because he also is experimenting with the same idea.
We did break down a bit and we talked about it, I think it is cool to be able to talk to others and not have a fear of being stabbed in the back for doing so, It is innovation and it really nice to be able to just kinda shoot the shiznit with others that share the same passion for this industry.
Our idea that we both share has its own hurdles to climb and it may never work out but just the fact that we have the same passion was really awesome and you could see that Matt was really proud and happy to be where he is with the team at PMF.
I am really happy that they have welcomed us to help us on our path as well so thank you Matt, and Curt for making our visit pleasant, and very educational...I love to see how the tools work, and how things come together.
Tim always has told me, he never thought when he was just working out of his garage that he would be where he is today, I am sure it was the same with PMF many years ago, I just hope I can do just a small amount of what PMF,and Tim have done for there families, for mine. I am excited...very excited about the wand we are working on and I am hoping I can put together a wand that performs as well as our filter. The filter is cool, but it is by no means as important as what we hold in our hands to do the job everyday, I am just really excited but all very well aware that our wand has a huge mountain to climb as there is so many great wands to choose from, but it is great to know that PMF is willing to help us in our adventure to help make it a reality.
Thanks,
Tom & Melissa
