Mike are those cushions Down Filled? looks like it might just be brown- out caused by the flame retardant applied to the Down.

If Down filled-- Take the cushions out of covers-- wrap in plastic- insert back into covers--then clean again-- leave the plastic until covers are dry.

If it comes down to a "fix it or replace it" issue you could take the covers off and throw them in the washer on the gentle cycle. Dry them for a few minutes, then put the covers back on the cushion and speed dry with an air mover.

I've done that a few times over the years with decent success. The one issue I've had though is it can lighten/change the color a bit. In your case, it looks like the color is screened on and not part of weave, so the pattern shouldn't change, just the background.

Maybe I wasnt clear enough

Someone long ago created that mess.

The owner never noticed until they moved it to a different, brighter room.

The sofa is from 91 so who knows how long it's been like that.

I think the fabric is "duck cotton"? I might not be saying it right but could shrink a lot if put in washer/dryer.
