All day job..
Getting along famously until 6 hours in I rinse this area and voila!

She says she worked on a wax spill there along time ago..

She's convinced I spilled something on it.
I found a dye guy in Reno but no answer.

No amount of explaining what could have happened was getting through to her..

Very dense nylon...

If you'd kept your certs up to date... šŸ˜‰

yep I'd say an oxidiser or maybe ammonia based product, got an apartment they were using window cleaner as a spotter and the colour just rinsed out like that

Had that happen as well. But now when I go in I ask what she has used and if it's resolve I caution her what will happen. Most typically is for pet treatments. No explaining to her will get you off the hook............after the fact. Been thru those acne treatments too that will remove color when you clean over them. So look around for pimply teenagers too.

Ask her if she uses "Summer's eve" vaginal rinse. I heard that if not fully flushed from "Up in there" that it can and will leak out .............all over the carpet.

She says she worked on a wax spill there along time ago... So she used something other than water. Maybe there was something in the wax? I wouldn't own her problem but maybe now you do?
I would let her know I could help her with her problem by using a dye stick to make it less noticeable...not perfect ... but better.
No charge...Let's write that on the invoice and please sign here.
Lighter fluid and a crayola crayon was the color trick when I was a hack student housing apartment cleaner.
Craft stores or amazon sells fabric dye pens. Not IICRC approved.
Or hope the Dye Guy in Reno answers tomorrow and he doesn't charge like the guy who use to hang out here.

I'm way too colorblind to mess with color correction

It's NOT the carpet cleaner it's the homeowner. If it was caused by the carpet cleaner it would be all over the carpet not just in a small area. Most of us know the application of the chemicials and the results. Many homeowners spray but will not tell and then it's our problem. The show& tell is not being honest with the hired carpet cleaner. jz

Not really any spots on this ladies carpet, just years of dusts and Ife...vacuum died long ago.

Part of her panic was due to a group of old friends coming over this Tuesday.

I'm betting she does something stupid....

If I asked her what she had for dinner last Friday do you think should remember? she certainly won't remember having you some kind of f****** spot cleaner to try and get that wax out

Thatā€™s exactly like the music directorā€™s house at my largest account.šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø BUT, I give him the snow shovel and roll around and tell him when heā€™s done, call me.

Absolutely a bullseye.

I always casually ask ā€œwhat kind of spotter do you have?ā€ while inspecting the floors.
It does not raise defenses and they always run to get it. My deal is: Toss that stuff at a jogger and I will provide free spotter for as long as I am in business.

Did a repeat Friday that made sure she left the half empty bottle out for me to refill with ā€œthat magic juiceā€ lol.

Had a new client last week that swore by using ā€˜Scouts Honour ā€˜....
Yeah, Big bleach out spots everywhere...
She asked if they would ā€˜clean outā€™.
NO.
I referred her to my favourite flooring store, and a good installer...
