yes, OP the way to go , if you are going to tackle it.

Years ago, high end customer. All white berber upstairs.
lower level , wood, and with rugs all over. The jute, on wood was scary. Not because of the jute, but it was on wood, , under furniture that was not getting moved. I put plastic under the parts I cleaned to avoid friction to the FINE!!! wood. OH, that was before the grumpy, TOPS etc. it was an original John G machine!! LOL!

VLM is necessity for jute. That’s why I switched to VLM too, 30 years ago… To end the common problems associated with wicking on CGD. And to turn commercial work into a systemized profit generator.

I have to wonder if you had an
unfortunate wand, no Glide and poor HWE technique 30 years ago...

actually, I'm sure you did, but it led to your distinctive path, and notable place in our industry.

Are you enjoying the life of a supplier Rick?

Another trick for jute is Encap-HydrOx. It excels at stopping Browning. And Browning is very common with jute.
White jute rug, green Dog vomit stain.

@Jim Pemberton

I cleaned it with a light pre spray of prochem fine fabric pre spray and a splash of peroxide in a hand sprayer misted evenly.

Rinsed with natural fiber cleaner and sapphire upholstery pro.

The grass puke lightened up considerably, also it turned yellowish immediately when wet.

I would've loved to run a little more more water through it on a hot day in the ☀️.

Nicely done!

Peroxide can turn cellulose fibers yellow, I find myself increasingly wary of it unless necessary.

It seems in this case that it was a winner though :)
