Cfi 3000 upgraded to 47 blower and it ran fine for a long time. Now it seems the 26 hp Kohler Aegis engine bogs for 3 to 5 min then back to normal speed for a few minutes then bogs again. Ideas?

Cracked coil. Happened on my 20hp Honda.

I can test that theory by disconnecting one of the spark plugs during bog down. It sound right to me! I will check it out. Thanks for the tip!

It may not be the engine. I had a Victory 47 that would bog down. The problem turned out to be in the blower HX. The coil inside had shifted to one side blocking the discharge outlet. Blower was pumping a bunch of air into the HX without anywhere to go.
