Who knows where to go to find the best price on Kunkle valve?

Or anyone knows if its worth it to take it off and take it apart to try to fix it?

I have done the "squirtwd40" in it from the bottom over the years but now its really crapping out.

It leaks constantly and won't close. I guess my unit just became a "nellos free flow unit".

So any ideas? Should I just toss it and get a new one or try is it something I should try to fix?

I recommend Bayco Valves over Kunkles. They work better in our application because of the moisture issues. not sure who is carrying either right now though.

yes, you can and should dismount it, open it up and flush the hell out of it every so often. Be careful of springs and such and make sure to put pen marks to line up settings when reassembling.

Take care,
Lisa
