We talked at Connections a few back and I remember you had a impressive system for sale.
I’m looking at replacing my prochem unit next month and would like to hear more out what you have for sale.

funny, I was just thinking about that deal. Lance had a pretty cool system at Vegas. Reverse Osmosis I believe.

My old tank in my Lima bean is toast. I need to do something quick.

I've been waiting forever for one of the "known" TM vendors to make something like this for our industry.

Can anyone (including Lance) tell me about the system?

I guess if you could just clean with the "empowered" water alone..

Dave gill ( I'm pretty sure) uses an RO Rinse... He has a unit like that pictured feeding a 300 gallon storage tank and fills his van from that tank.

Hey Mike and all.. my 1st post here... 8) I would HATE to have to go back to " traditional soft water" carpet cleaning....No its not "empowered water".

There is a lot that good, clean water can do...

I will answer any question to the best of my abilities...

Demien Lucero uses RO on his vortex and swears by it.

I thought I heard Lance was going to get a TM manufacture to OEM his system at one point.

I dont know Demien Lucero... but Kemp Waterfall will be my next victim, errr... sale.... he has seen it ( the results of
cleaning) using R/O

The setup with the OEM has sold out... oops was that a give away?

We have run RO water in our Butlers for the last 4 years and would not want to go back to soft water only. RO simply cleans better with much, much less cleaning agent.

Hey Matt, I assume you only use the RO water with to emulsifier or rinse, correct? Just prespray and RO water rinse?

Nate, I use a prespray, and R/O only rinse.... I havent run any emulsifiers or acids in 4+ years..... R/O is roughly PH 6

Correct. Just prespray and rinse with RO. Squeaky clean and very soft. People have noticed and commented.

basically ro water has nothing in it.
Soft water has everything in it, but the metals or the stuff that make it "hard" have been bonded.

How long would it take to fill a 200gal tank at tap water pressure?

I'm no math genius but 1.9 GPM should equate to 105 minutes or 1hour and 45minutes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That depends on "your" tap pressure, and the type of filters, and the type (high flow or high rejection) of r/o membrane, some will bypass more water on the bad side. (that may not neccesarily be "bad").

I ran DI for a few months about 2 years ago. DI rinse left the fibers bright and
soft, it was truly the best rinse. It would even draw the oils out of
your hands leaving them dry.
I stopped useing DI because it was too expensive swaping out the tanks.

I rember talking to Lance a few years back in Vegas about the RO
system but was amazed by the amount of waste water produced in the
process. Please correct me if I'm wrong but it was something like 3
gallons of waste to every gallon of purifed water???????
I just can't justify that amount of waste!!!

The car wash industry uses this for their "spot free rinse" cycles. Usually have a 500+ gallon accumulation tank with a little unit steadily filling it.

Here is the deal. You can get a GE Merlin or other system for $1000 and make the water at home over a 24 hour period. Then you have to haul the water. Traditional systems like this filter ten gallons of water to produce 2 gallons of RO water. The Pure Rinse has patented technology. They use thicker filtration membranes and pulsate(?) the water at higher pressure to produce 7-8 gallons of pure RO water out of 10 wasting only 2-3 gallons.

It looks to be worth the money, but I think it is only worth it if you are going to put the effort into marketing it. When it gets slow I conssider it but then I get slammed busy again.

Mikey;

The "empowered" water generator would cost you thousands more.

The RO water rinse is why Dave Gill gets such good cleaning results.

It leaves the least residue in the carpet fiber.

That is what the Carpet Manufacturers want and tell their customers to look for.
