4 mil lake side home..

Would have took at least 400 ft to reach four stories down....

Just a couple spots, light use, part-time home...

That red concrete floor around the yellow wall rug is absolutely filthy so if by chance they do complain about dirty socks I can blame it on the floor which I showed them with a cotton towel and dire need it is of a rinse job

We have a few places like that closer to where Willy lives. 200-300 feet up or down just to get to the front door. Usually no elevators.

The worst one I ever did was down 132 stairs made with snotty wood and gravel and back up. Machine, hoses, wand, buckets, heater, hydroforce, etc. The house was built on the side of a 200 foot cliff with a spectacular view of the Capilano river. I didn't need to go to do any cardio that day. The lady that owned the house was quite generous at pay up time. She also owns a tourist trtap suspension bridge across the same river, Salmon galore as well as trout and REAL steelhead, not Larry's frankenfish. Have a look at the canyon.

Willy, Willy, Willy....

Pa has the Fall run "mutt"strain.
Ohio is Spring run Manistee strain.

what we lack in size (average 5-7 pound in Pa/ 7-10 pound in Ohio) we make up in numbers

I'm too busted up to tramp the creeks now. ☹️
But in my hay days, double digit numbers were the norm, not the rarity.

my "record" day was 23 landed before noon and never moved more than 75 yards from one end of the cut/run to other ..fo-reel

Longest landed was a 36" hen from the Niagara river.
Heaviest was a fat football shaped hen from Ohio just over 14 pounds
A good friend has a 15+ pound buck on the wall from the same stretch of river my 14 pounder came from

Frankinfeesh is al'ite with me...😉

pee-azz

and the one that "got away"

slow day, couldn't buy a bite with all my "go to" stuff
I tied on a goofy looking blue chenille jig for chits 'n giggles

Float stopped and thought I snagged bottom til it started moving to the bottom of hole and wouldn't move.
I knew it was a heavy fish...
Light wire hook, 6 pound test, I put as much pressure as I dared.
The pig would move around a little and right back to the bottom of the hole.
after 10 minutes of that, I knew I'd never wear it out to land it.

so I stomped into the hole to chase him out and make him fight

big mistake ...it came up and did flip and scared me it was so big.
fo-reel Honest to God, it was close to, if not a state record (20 pound at the time)

welp, it made a bee line for the fast water and I couldn't turn him ..
stumbling and bumbling down the creek I go trying to catch up with my screaming drag before he spooled me

which he did...*tink* went the line ...along with my "glory fish"
😭

and give it four or five more years and your truck mount honeymoon will be over and you'll have plenty of revisits and repeats and you'll start to realize that running a wand over a carpet once or twice isn't all that either in many cases...

Here in the land of no forest fires, earthquakes, stupid taxes and communists... even rich people will always want their carpet flushed.

And I will always prefer not hauling a 100+ pound towel rubber up some stairs, when I can just run a low flow wand over the carpet and still empty a dirty waste tank when I’m done, because even clean residential carpet is nasty.

I didn’t write “overhead” you FDA, I wrote “cost of living”.

You can research the difference on google.

I can buy a beautiful farm on 100 acres with a damn creek in my backyard for a few hundred grand here in God’s country.

Plus, I don’t have to sign smoke inhalation waivers during the closing process.

Bottom line is my little $50 per room rate after being in business just a few years goes way further than your $100 rate, after 57 years of you scrubbing carpet.

Bad news is I don’t get free Trinity machines.

I’d sell them anyway and buy Orbots because they clean better.
