PS Roger, can you start new threads each time with each different lot of photos and questions? They just get pretty long otherwise.

Photo 1 Super dry and hard piece of leather

Photo 2 Fat liquer is added to Baggie

Photo 3 Baggie has been put under a slight vacuum to open pores in leather and it naturly absorbs all the fat liquer and is on its way to becoming softer and more pliable.

No vacuum, is my guess. Dry leather has just absorbed the fatliquor, causing the baggie to "suck in".
