Started at 5 am yesterday...finished at 3 am....

Couple hours of sleep and the got to get this all done moment reared it's ugly head today...

And now down to the one van....dropped off the other the brother Dave last night.

This is not gonna be easy....

And about 10 areas rugs now in the shop needed done ASAP!

Got to get to the bottom of the shop first after stripping out a van....

Gonna start dusting them today and prepping for cleaning this afternoon...

Other massive amounts of errands to get done....boys had morning off until 11 am (they got home earlier around 1 am)

Me closing the doors at 3 am this morning....

"Chirstine" as we have fondly started to call the new van and Butler (hope she likes me) has finally arrived late Thursday night....

The real delivery guy ended up have 2 new tires come apart on the way here that set him late (and an oil line leak I guess too)

It's been storming at night for past few days...lot's of thunder and lightning....and today a lot during the day....

Today our oldest grandsons 5th Birthday...but I have to miss it...

Sad day in a few ways....I have to go take out or parents camper that they have had at a lake resort for over 25 years.....age and health issues....they have decided to give it up...and today is the day it needs to be out!

The camper has not been moved in 20 years....don't even know if we will make it the 15 miles on old tires to my brother Kirk's place.

Setting it up there on his property for parents...just in case...

I have to get time tomorrow to get my pontoon and jet ski's out of the lake (used them so much again...not... )

Hardest part of all of this is to watch the parents aging now...and they (and me) realizing they cannot take care of this place or even be able to get there themselves possibly anymore....

I don't think you can plan for this really......

I did play kind of "Bad Grandpa" last night though....stopped in after work at 7:45 pm just as the grandbabies were in bed to start going to bed....


And youngest daughter with our week old new baby boy Parker stopped by as well.....

Kind of had a party

Bet they are sleeping in a bit today....but gonna stop by and see them on the way to my parents camper tear out in a few minutes!

Mark, there is an acceptance that comes with age. I am guessing that your parents see the youngsters coming along, that their family is thriving and are content.

No current license plate on it so we're sneaking it to my brothers place on the back roads. So far the tires are holding air. Keeping our fingers crossed for a 20-mile cross-country jaunt.

One more major project done today...

Jet skis out and put away. Pontoon boat kids left lights on killed battery (wouldn't take a charge).. New battery in and off the lake...

Lifts and docks out...

Number of floating toys deflated...

Takes an entire day almost!

Pontoon Going in for winterize and set of spark plugs, then to storage.

Tommorrow... We take our only working van and Butler (while finishing new one) on a barge out on an island to clean large place...
