Had conversation with 3 competitors last night....

The 2 franchise companies have now basically given up doing carpet cleaning and told me they are just sending people to me!

The other one is trying to get some of the things I am using I guess, but then go and buy cheap items anyway that are not working for them well...and they don't have a real understanding of why (chems, tools)

One of the other companies never really do this show or any other public meet and greet....or public marketing....

I guess we cleaned for some people a couple weeks ago that the realtor was supposed to have had us clean the place prior to them taking over the home...the realtor had got the cheaper guys in town...new home owners not happy...

We did a clean up at their new house couple weeks ago (they have been in the place a month)....we made such a huge difference in the way the carpets looked (night and day) They came and signed up last night to have the rest of their house cleaned by us ...and then do the house they were living in that will be a rental unit now...and do their garage floor of their new home....

Boom! Got to love it.....

Unfortunately, not the fancy cut it down and make it look "great" polished....

Would be cool though....but bet my 2 hours scheduled for it would be a bit too little of time

Don't know about "Gold Standard" as I want to say we are always still trying to make ourselves better...but appreciate the kind words.

We have to keep working hard to earn peoples business, or we can fall behind and get stagnant....

That is still difficult I think no matter who you are....

Human nature can get us....

But the show is going well...I was tired yesterday...and the pups were wiped out from meeting and greeting too

Show is going well....little slower this year so far, but we have booked around $5000 worth of or work or more...so still a success.

Still have today from 10 am - 4 pm and this is the day we will usually see a pretty busy afternoon.

Weather can play such an effect on what happens, or if local school sports teams are out of the area.

Couple weeks ago with State Boys High School Hockey, the builders show was absolutely dead...everyone was out of town...this past week, our Girls Basket Ball team has been in State Tournaments, but lost first round so more people have come home...

Will see today if things pick up more too, but there are young hockey leagues out of town this weekend too, so we are seeing a ripple effect

Still good show and bookings for a couple weeks out, and more contacts coming in for bookings.....
