My first REAL bed liner, ive sprayed Herculiner and every other brand out there. Never again, Linex from now on!

Pro 1200 Se should be installed any day now.

Installing insulation and carpeted wood panels.

Also have something else cool on the way after equipment is installed, A this is a short wheelbase I'll be limited to roughly 4.5' to 5' from the Water pond to the back doors.

More pics soon to follow

No, my tiny A-15 motor gets crazy hot... In my opinion the 4.8 should get hotter, because it has to work harder to produce a set amount of hp?

I have a theory on that. Im guessing they put too cold of a thermostat in his coolant bypass housing.

I'm not terribly concerned about heat anyways. Ill be adjusting it down if it gets past 220 ATM anyways. I dont like much more than 185-190 ATW.

The 4.8 is worthless for what we do. The fuel savings you think your getting you won't get hauling what we haul. You have it now but I wouldn't put a anything bigger then legend/370/rage etc in a 4.8 and I wouldn't carry water and no way will I ever install another CDS in one

Yeah the 4.8 and the 6.0 should run at the same temp, but my theory is there is just less of that same temp available in the smaller 4.8 to draw on if that makes sense.

My Legend GT would get over 240, but that doesn't mean I had unlimited amounts of that.

Shouldn't need any supplementing even if the 4.8 cools things down a few degrees.

I haven't done any high flow experimenting, but I can say I cleaned tile wide open at 1000 psi and stayed right at 200ish ATM.

Why?
We do it all the time with absolutely zero issues. There is only 20hp difference between the two.
Water Ponds, or Water Tanks are fine for the 2500's

Ashley you should be fine. I think they tweaked Dave's truck without touching the thermostat.
His is kicking Ass last time we talked.
I can find out exactly what adjusting they made if ya want.

Thanks @BradFenstermaker ,Ill ask Dave what they did.

I didnt buy the 4.8 for fuel savings, I bought it because the van had 5k miles and had all the features I wanted and I saved 12k over new :)

We really dont have many inclines here, just a few steep hills. And I'm sure it will do better than my 130HP '99 Vortex that couldn't go over 45mph up a gentle hill with no water @John Olson :)

Foam board insulation, and carpeted 1/4 plywood panels installed.

Only thing left are carpeted boxes over the wheel wells, and carpeted panels to cover the exposed edges of the roof.

Ashley,
You shouldn't have to tweak anything on your Pro-1200 if installed correctly.
The new model is much easier to install than the older version.
You'll love it:rockon:
