I was talking to my buddy at servicemaster the other day and he told me about an interesting flood call, he said that he got a call from a lady who had a guy clean her carpet. Now this guy is notorious for leaving carpet wet. I guess when servicemaster showed up they had to classify the ladies carpet as a cat 1 water loss because the other cleaner left it so wet. I guess it ended up costing the lady almost 900 bucks to get her floor dry. I guess thats what happens when you try and clean carpety at 800 psi like this guy has been know to do

at 700 psi I leave them pretty well dry, must be Millers Carpet Care!

700-800psi is not the problem...its the type of wand and wand handling tech.
The type of machine(blower size matters if the tech is forced to do 6 jobs a day)
And a little bit of the type of fabric could be a problem too..

I run 600psi 20flow with my 45 blower and (airpath) there is absolutely no problems with dry times.

This problem also happens when your vacum hose gets plugged without you knowing it. this not common with a glide on the wand, but with hair and toothpics in the line shit happens. Yes pre vac. is the answer. The easy was to make sure the line is open is to use a small stone at the wand end through vac line and it should end up in the filter or tank or not. But easy to do. jack z..
