Looking for biz insurance at this time. Do you use a local agent or a national compy to cover you?

If national or non local who have you had good service and rates from?

Thanks,

It's very coincidental to see this thread pop up. I just switched over to another company yesterday because they were dramatically cheaper than my current policy.

I had AutoOwners insurance providing general liability/inland marine coverage for about $45/month. I needed workman's comp to be added, and the quote for that one with the current $45 was gonna bump up to $265. So I got a quote from American Family Insurance with a package total of just $130. That number was way better.

So to answer your question, the current insurance policy came from my independent agent locally here in my town, and the new agent is in Atlanta.

Quite frankly that’s like asking franchise, or local carpet cleaner. An independent agent always has your best interest at hand. I was one for 15 yrs.
