I am telling you, check craigslist everyday and be prepared to make a cash offer. I paid $3750
98 Ford 1500 ( too bad its only a half ton ) runs perfect not a single thing wrong, even the tires are almost new. 125k miles.
Prochem Proformer 405 1100 original hours. Water softener, 400 foot hose reels ( crazy big )
The local computer chip manufacturer bought it new and put it in a used van years ago. My local Interlink has done all the work on it. It was used once or twice a month. Runs great.

Those 405 last forever. Some guys get 15k hours on them
I bet I could flip this thing for 9k pretty easy.

1100 hours on a 405 is nothing
I have a friend that might take it off your hands for that price. Let me know. By the way, don't frown on it being a 1500. As long as there's no water tank inside, a half ton chassis will do just fine.

Prochem Blazer 560 hours
Blueline Cobalt 3000 hours
Prochem Blazer plus 1480 hours
Now this 405 1100 hours

Should you be able to?

Personally I'd look at longevity, less repair liquid vs air-cooled.
The Performer is a beast built for the long haul. Those small air cooled are likely running at or near max. They doubtfully will last half as long as the Nissan.

Yeah, you will hear and feel the difference in the airflow. I agree with richard, sell one of the others and keep this one. Or drive up here and I will give you $6000 for it.

If you had the same wand and hose hooked 100 feet out, could you tell the difference between any of those?

I saw a huge difference each time I went from 3.3 to 4.5 to 4.7. The 4.8 isn't that much more than a 47.

My 405 was a huge step up from my legend se

I have all of those modified 2.5 inch. The difference from 2 nch to 2.5 inch on the small machines is huge.
Very little difference.
I will modify the 405 2.5 when I get back from Nashville, right now it sitting because we don't have time to breath. We have been slammed
