I have an RX-20 and really like it
but Im thinking of selling it and going with the RV.
What are the opinions of people who have tried both?
All good comments been made in this post so far.
I have also used RX 20's a lot in our past, but haven't used them as much due to weight and as mentioned, they put out a lot of water, but don't recover as well.
Agitation is nice especially on the job we had yesterday.
The RV 360 XL performed well, and I had some plugged and wacky performing jets I discovered (installed inline filter this morning on the unit).
It has some weight, but not as heavy as the RX 20's
The shroud around the head is flexible (which seems nice)
I like the low profile to get under things....
It does seem to dry well too....(we went over areas with our zipper wands to see how much more we could get out and it was not much)
We are going to keep using it and report back.
So far I like it....
I have only had the chance to run the Hoss 700 at a couple conventions, and it also is a nice unit.
So, I am still testing, but I give the Rotovac XL a thumbs up so far.
And for Marty, we actually did try the
CRB and wand on this and the wand was slower and couldn't penetrate this thick nylon quite as well....but I will get some video when I can of similar situations.
The zipper did well too when we tested, but this thing was pretty bad shape, so it needed a lot of agitation, which the XL just seemed better on this carpet.
(Still love my Zippers too though
