Lora says thanks she is a little sore today but overall she is really happy with her results as she should be. My fat ass couldn't run 1 mile in 11:41 let alone average that over 13.1 miles!

Wish I could get back to running. Besides the hamstring pull years ago, and the heel spur, I'm stuck with walking.

I remember when my son, fresh out of high school, trained and ran the LA Marathon. He trained back in Ohio in freezin' ass weather, and on the day of the LA Marathon, it was 90+ degrees. He burned out real quick, but did finish the race in 4 hours. Palm trees don't provide much shade on the streets of LA and Hollywood.

What was cool was....any body could follow his progress on a computer by logging into the LA site. A chip in his shoe was a GPS transmitter.
