Yeah Did it once and didnt know I was supposed to use backerboard in a vertical gap.

I got paid learned alot .

Need to get a triangle tool and carbide scratch tool to aid removal
Also a better razor scraper so your hand dosnt cramp.
we also carry heat guns to aid drying

good tips , and yes it take a detailed person and patience

I could not tell if you used a hook blade to empty the gaps, or sprayed a mildewcide into the joints to dry. But that looked like a thorough removal.
