air leak or pump's done

did it quit in the middle of a job?
or no PSI at start up? (like it's not priming)

If the latter, plug a QD into your solution line, then use the vac to see if it will prime

to find out if you have an air leak...easiest way I know is to buy a couple fittings (female 3/4" garden hose thread to 1/4" pipe thread nipple to 1/4" QD

Then you can use a garden hose to back feed the plumbing.
If you see any drips, that's the air leak

and not to be a dik (this time) it would help if you give us more details.
what porty do you have?
Did the pump stop pumping all together, of lose of good pressure ?

Lost PSI On Portable
Can you elaborate? Are you experiencing complete loss of pressure, or when you triggering? Which portable?
Is it pulsating? What does it do? Did you check the electrical connection, is the wiring loose? There are many reasons for the loss of pressure. Even some debris, or lint in the water pump valves can cause, broken seal(s). Is it 205, 207 V, XP1-Cat pump? Is the motor with a rectifier or big-ass Baldor? The pump can be rebuilt easily if you are patient ( rebuilt kit A, B, C ) will cost more than a few years ago probably around $150-$200, but the pump is going to be expensive. Open the shell of the portable, if you have a 205 V pump it should be blue, 207V can be black or blue, I don't remember exactly.
This is a 205 V in the attachment.

Here is your" buddy' plunger that creates all the pressure.
You're not going to be smarter by reading all the responses. You have to start the process of elimination. Why don't you start with wiring, check for the leaks of pressure hoses, and disassemble the pressure regulator (the bullet's seal may be broken or it's worn out. Fill the porty with water, turn it on, and record the sound of it. We might be able to diagnose the problem by the sound of the pump. Usually nice muffled sound means seals are fine, if it's running kind of rough, with a lot of friction, and screeching noise, it means worn-out seals and O-rings. It's all a guessing game before you take a look inside.
It seems that everyone is interested to help, but you enjoy your Sunday anyways.
