Could use some advice. It’s a church. I pretty sure these are heavy coffee stains. It’s a rec room also used for the Worship service. 344DBB15-2FB5-44D7-A68D-D25F348DF00E.jpeg14C0A7AB-BBE2-40A6-B18F-CA5C13C7AE0B.jpegA8B47AAF-62ED-4320-B0E0-9A665F634DC2.jpeg1C48ADD5-B202-46B6-A9A1-A142E617549A.jpeg7D6CD906-F590-487B-B795-97B0335E0CE1.jpegB163C313-B7B8-4447-B8DF-0FF0CC4CD3FD.jpeg 4EF4FF2B-4791-4502-861E-D0CE64BEC23A.jpeg 9637265B-3E0C-4204-BECF-E9C3EA87B043.jpeg

Depends on the method you will use. If you are going to use low moisture, use an oxy encap solution. With a Cimex or sprayborg, that will take out the majority of the stains. If using hwe, I would pretreat stains with a tannin coffee stain remover. Clean then treat with peroxide based spotter any stains that remain. Final treatment is 2 part peroxide/ammonia product. Spray and walk away.

Awesome thank you. I’ll be doing the hwe method.

I used the last of my Bridgepoint coffee stain remover the other day. Man that stuff is strong. I was coughing all day. I think I'll be ordering the Prochem stuff.

Vacuum the whole place, spray a generous amount of 40vol on those areas, go set up and proceed to clean as normal

Benefits of supporting my MEMBERship? The explanation given on the website doesn’t sell me. Seriously, I’m interested.

I was in the exact same situation. Bid on a church with tons of coffee stains so I stocked up on Tannin and Stain 1 (oxy)

Turns out CGD is pretty resilient to coffee and I didnt need any of it. When I picked up my air movers the next day stains were still gone.

It's a 5 gallon pail. Will last a year at least. You don't need to use very much.
Damn, Ron. A five gallon pale in a year?
What, you specialize in StarBucks?

The tannin remover works well on coffee. Though there are actually three different ones.
Some Tannin stain removers are just an acid and can be used in lots of situations, some will contain reducers and some peroxide, the last two requiring caution or not to be used at all, on some fabrics

We use in the shop for various things. It's similar to browning treatment. Has a mild reducer in it. Very inexpensive to use.

Ah, BUT, have you tested the fibre to make sure it’s not wool?
The churches I do BOTH have wool/ wool blend carpet. If that’s the case, disregard all the peroxide advice above, and go with a tannin remover.....
