I swore someone (Lockhart) mentioned using it? Or are most of you using straight non detergent 30 weight?

I always use the pump manufactures fluid. I just bought 2.5 gallons of general pump oil. 85, which is pricey but cheap insurance in my eyes. I also used aeon pd in my blowers.

I run Lucas in everything and that includes mixing it in my pump with oil. Why not, it makes the oil slicker and doesnt break down as quickly. Only time I wont use it is when an engine is breaking in. Its so slick the rings wont seat properly. Great stuff though.

2. 5 gallons?

Are you changing it every month?

Why so much?

It doesn't go bad on the shelf. I'll have this machine a while so why not buy in bulk. Always been my way. The pump holds 40 oz. you should see how many cases of transmission fluid I have. I also buy my filters by the case.
