I am just trying to get recommendations that are specific to the remediation industry for drumming up new business. We have been in business for a while and want to remain small, local. We are not trying to become huge like Belfor or Servpro. We are definitely not a franchise. Have worked in the industry for about 15 years now and have gained a lot of contacts, but want to form new relationships with agents and adjusters. Any suggestions?

It can be difficult forming relations with agents and adjusters. You might have more success with property managers. They want people who can show up promptly and get things under control. You rarely get kicked off the job by the bigger guys. Especially in strata buildings where deductibles can be as high as 25,000-30,000 dollars or worse. You will often be paid directly by the management company and not have to wait for the insurance.
