I worked for Beflor in Chesapeake VA for about 5-6 years. I did it all. I worked my way up from general labor, to learning fire clean up, then became a water tech and eventually their leader water tech for a time. I know you guys could give a shit about
IICRC certs, but i have my Journeyman in Water Damage Restoration, and Carpet Cleaning.
I used to frequent these boards when I was a salesman for a short time at interlink supply in VA Beach. I got out of the business all together and went back to college. I'll be done with that soon.
I didn't say my websites were the best. But I think business owners don't understand the importance of not only having a website, but a website that is respectable and follows basic design and development standards.
I've said time and time again. Hire a professional. I'm not telling you guys to higher me. I honestly can't stand dealing with some of the service industry business owners who want websites. Every one is broke and expects things for free. I'd rather do 1 website a month for $10k than 10 for $1k. Know what i mean?
when you contract some one to do your website. Look at their portfolios. Do they look like anything from
http://www.cssdrive.com http://www.csselite.com . If not and they are charging you more than a grand, your probably getting ripped off. Do they offer SEO? do they have a portfolio of proven results? then they are probably ripping you off.
Also, this is your online image. take pride in it and higher a professional that can take the love you have for your business and make it shine on the internet.
