Chevy van says rebuilt title. Was it flooded? If so, have someone clean all the mud and crap out of the hollow part of the frame. I unknowingly bought a used Chevy years ago with a clean Carfax report from a small dealer that had been in a flood. What happened is the hollow part of the frame rails, in the rear, were filled with mud which kept the frame moist causing rust and weakness. I went to get it inspected one day and the mechanic pointed out cracks in my frame which would not pass. He also saw the other side on its way to cracking due to the excessive deterioration, which was due to the moist mud storage from being flooded.

No mudders- they wouldn't pass inspection.Only certain companies can do inspections and they're pretty picky about who they choose and how it's done. They get their license pulled if there's any shenanigans.

The van and cleanco for 37,500 was in a serious accident and written off by the insurance Co. These people purchased it and repaired it. Although it may have passed inspection, it is hard to say how well it was repaired. They are asking way too much in my opinion.

Take a look Willy but this unit has been for sale for 2 years. I looked at it last year and it fired up ok (ha to jump the battery) but it was leaking all over the place. Vehicle and unitnot in good shape, hence the price. Probably has been frozen several times over the last couple years. Unit is a old bridgepoint Lancer, i'm told that is a rebadged legend from prochem ( old style) 18hp motor and I believe it is a roots 33 rai blower. All parts can replaced and if the heat exchanger is toast, you can get a replacment from blue baron for about a 1000.00 us. For the money he may have to put into it, there is a Chevy astro with a newer TMI unit on cl for 12000.00. Might get him dowm to 9 or 10
