What say you?.

Maxx 470 has 600 hours looks new. $11k (truckmount only). No apo (only wired for it).

WM Commander has 400 hours with 2001 Chevy extended 80k miles. Pretty much complete. Has an 80g. waste tank vs the 120 that normally comes with it. I haven't seen this one yet.
$15k.

Looking for a tm sucks

I personally would rather have the 470 max tm. But not having a van and all make the deal less attractive than the white magic.

What else comes with the 470? no tank???

It does come with the 100 g. tank. Having a modified maxx450 I'm leaning towards the 470. I know what you mean about the package vs just the tm though.

As far as WM, posts seem to go both ways from pos to a good unit. I'm sure a lot more deals are comming being winter. Jan, Feb they'll be giving it away

WM = POS!

Hydramaster = less of a POS

In other words, I'd steer clear of the WM.

I think most TMs are wired for an APO option.

Very happy with my Commander I would buy another one and another one.............

Whats wrong with WM? I have 3...very happy only normal wear and tears.

Plenty of commander guys are happy, but I must say, head to head I think the 470 is the better of the two...I just don't like the BUCs direct coupler system, the engine is rock solid, and the 4007 blower is nice to have, and you can't discount the Heat of the 470.

I really liked the 1800 and 1600 very easy to work on and very simple.

You are right Albert, I think the 470s are belt drive, it's the 450s that are using the BUCs as well as the 427.

What is funny is HydraMaster talks about the bucs being all that, it delivers 100% of the avail. power then goes and puts belts on it's premium machines...lol So which is better HM, belts or couplers?

What year is the 470 you got?

I think the guy said it was an 06 or 07, maybe hm will know by the serial #. Sure has a lot of hoses and shi$ all over the place. The manual is 178 pages. Maybe it's just that it's sitting in the garage that I notice how complicated it looks.
