Pulled off cord put new cord on lots of tiny screws not as difficult as replacing a power supply on a laptop but still it's a chore.

Photo shows break in cord gonna give it to meathead as a present.

Take a zip tie and leave a little slack in the cord to recline the machine then tie it off... No need to worry after that... Not sure if you take off the handle to clean stairs or not...If you do, I'd just zip tie it to the base...If not, the handle is fine too...

Just like I do on the Cimex after having the cord based pulled from it.... The plastic is stripped where it meets the Cimex... I think @Desk Jockey also zip tied they're cords too....

Yeah I'm no genius. I figured it out by yanking the cord out of the base on the job...several times.
Then it came to me...don't step on the cord. LOL Ok that's when I figured zip it and we wouldn't have to switch machines on the job site.

Simple solution and it works! :biggrin:

I think a problem to was when they took off the brushes and cleaned the bottom the were rolling the machine on the cord.
