Getting tired of me and need some new estrogen?

Never Darling, I just want to see more positive posts on carpet dyeing from as many knowledgeable people as possible.

Not interested in the nay-sayers & theorists, but information from practical people that are active in this field.

This also applies to those that work with leather, as in cleaning maintenance, repairs, coloring, etc; :very_drunk:

I do miss the informative posts from those such as Lonnie McDonald, Harry Hides, and a few others.

Not as in leather apparel thank you Marty & Desk Jockey. :eekk:

I was just reading some of her old posts. Dye sticks and crayons... maybe there were dye crayons?
Because WAY back I use to do a hundreds of Student apartments and I used lighter fluid and crayons for spot dying.
Eventually I took a class and used proper products.
The problem now is there is less and less dyeable carpets...nylon and wool.

That is actually why the crayons are better now.. Rub it on and heat set it with the iron.. You can't dye it back, but you can camouflage it so the eye isn't drawn to it...
