This company has the contract with some national retail stores...Yesterday morning a local store had a backup in the main sewer drain...black water back flowed out of the floor drains flooding the bathrooms and part of the warehouse and showroom...they called me last night, said it was just the bathrooms and little in storage...I told them I could be out within the hour...the manager wanted to wait till morning...they asked how much, I said standard industry pricing ...they said we pay 150 for the first hour and 45 after, for labor...any additional need to be approved before I start.... I get there this morning look thing over...it's 2500 sq ft raw sewage... they said my estimate would have to be approved by corp...

Gotta love the Cleanway line of doing business.... Find someone to do the work at rock bottom prices... Factoring in how much business the store loses from being closed, them dicking around with getting the cheapest person to clean it up... It's not in the best interest for anyone except the Metro Service....

Unless you are qualified to do that kind of work, stay the hell away. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

I would prefer everyone to be on the same page price wise. I don't want to do the work and get short or have fight over my money.

We've done some work like this where we went with a $600.00 limit until we arrived and called. We did one for $8,000.00 and just a couple months ago were approved for a $1200.00 one but the manager freeked out. She said her people could do it for that. :eekk:

They did. The third party management didn't want her to, they wanted us but ultimately she made the decision.
