Sunday, September 6 - IICRC Headquarters
Transportation: You will be responsible for getting from hotel to IICRC. Please plan accordingly to arrive for start time of class!
Light continental breakfast provided. Snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
8:00 – 8:30 – Welcome! Introduction and overview of course manual
8:30-9:00 – Tour IICRC building to review work areas
9:00-10:00 – Course Content, Chapter 1, Stone & Ceramic/Porcelain Tile Cleaning
10:00-11:00 – Cleaning of stone and tile areas, hands on break out groups
11:00-12:00 - Course Content, Chapter 2, Natural Stone CounterTops. Hands on, begin work stations.
12:00-1:00 - Lunch will be served onsite.
1:00-2:00 – Continue at Natural Stone work stations.
2:00-3:00 – Course Content, Chapter 3, Penetrative and Topical Sealers. Hands on Sealing of hard surfaces cleaned in the morning.
3:00-5:00 – Course Content, Chapter 4, Grout and Caulking Repair followed by hands on practice.
7:00 – OPTIONAL Group dinner, Tuscany Garden’s Italian Restaurant (@ Hotel). Check out menu here https://www.tuscanylv.com/restaurant/tuscany-gardens/ **This is a pay your own way meal.
Monday, September 7 - IICRC Headquarters
Light continental breakfast provided. Snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
8:00-9:00 – Review of Day 1 Content. Walk through from Day 1 to inspect work completed and see if touch ups are needed.
9:00-10:00 – Continue at Grout and Caulk Repair workstations.
10:00-12:00 – Course Content, Chapter 5, Wood and Vying Floor Cleaning and hands on break out groups.
12:00-1:00 - Lunch will be served onsite.
1:00-2:30 – Course Content, Chapter 6, Onsite Area Rug Cleaning and hands on break out.
2:30-3:30 – Course Content, Chapter 7, Sales.
3:30-5:00 – Final review, touch ups, Q&A. Review plan for RMH cleaning on Wednesday.
Dinner/Evening Activities on your own. Lots of restaurants across the street from the Tuscany to break into small groups with
