2. If employee has vacation time accrued then they will be required to use this time first, before taking an unpaid day off.



Why pay them to take a day off(for a hangover)?

I would think this would cut down on call offs, who wants to use their vacation time to get sober! lol

Hey I thought I sent that just to you.

You don't get to take off whenever you want when you work for us. We expect you to show up. When you are out of vacation time you then are taking unexcused absence. Too many of these and we are looking for other options. I need my trucks to run every day all day to make money. If you don't want to do it I will find someone that will.

We have a very liberal vacation policy and sick days as well as 7 paid holidays.

My team is very clear on the fact I can’t give them those sorts of benefits if we are not running the trucks hard every day.
