Never. I had my old 45 blower out and looked inside last winter after probably 25 yrs and it was very clean.
I respect your work and opinion but I don't see the need. I've never had a blower stick either even the one that set for month at a time without being used. BTW I never lub with WD40 either.

I've never washed any of mine either. They look great inside unlike Bob's arteries. jk
Must be that GeniCare Deluxe with a glug of 1300 foams up pretty bad and clogs blowers.

It makes it way easier to change a belt if need be.....
also a new belt may stretch a tad...
you can jus tighten it up in about THREE SECONDS!
