Looks like a carpet micro shear. Trims the top of the pile yarns to even height. Great tool fro correcting some issues that can look like color variation.

I used one once, but it was borrowed. Never owned one.

for de pilling carpet. I'm still learning about them, but seems a lot of wool or wool rich carpets require de pilling or cropping 9-12 months into their life.

My main clients will be the carpet manufacturers, but I'm hoping to pick up a bit of retailer referral work direct with the public through retailer education.

Yep, right over my head... Pops had to go to Maui for a shearing job. He did over 2,500sf of wool carpet. National Carpet had a batch of defective blades for the shearing machine from china. It was only cutting 6" of the 12" i believe. He was a bit grumpy... Lmao... :lol:
