I have been wanting to start this business for over 20 years. I put all of my eggs into one basket for this set up, used but completely refurbished by myself. Custom Shelving-about $100, Vinyl Lettering (Not done yet) only $125 (Ebay), Custom carpet for setting my gear on in customers home $13 (This little rug gives a great pro impression ! I hand painted acrylic paints on a $13 Kmart Rug), 2001 E350 Van and 2003 Boxer 421 $17,500. 88,000 miles and 3000 hours. (Kevin in Harrisburg, this is your old rig renewed). Should pay for itself 3 times over this year. And thanks Mikey for this board from which I've learned nothing but how to argue about who and what products are better.

Nice rig btw.

What is that shield around your stair wand for?

And where is your 175?

Is your superhero Ace from Gary and Ace on SNL?

Hey Mikey,

The shield or wings on my stair tool is a design I came up with to prevent from over spray with the single jet tool.
I do not own a rotary/scrubbing machine now, all carpet and wand work, but I am trying to decide what is best for both Comm. and Res. work.
The Super hero was a design by a Web site designer, I wasn't happy with his design but I kept the Hero and incorporated into a design of my own.
The MB logo, I cut from a piece of black vinyl that I bought from Ebay.
I still have enough room for a rotary, my air movers and I would like to start on hard surfaces in the near future.

Very nice. You have so much more room without hose reels too. I did away with my solution reel last year because my $125 ft. section of Greenie hose doesn't work well on a small reel. But it's more efficient that way because I can just grab the solution hose and my first section of vac hose and head on in to the furthest point and start unwinding.

Good job! Now get out there and make some $$$$!

You did save some for marketing?

As for Marketing.....

I have been in the soda distribution business for 20 years and have been in the thousands of commercial properties here in the county. All the while I have built my reputation among the owners and managers of those places, knowing that I would start this business. I am also involved with a many realtors/management companies as I also invest in flipping properties on the side. I am sure that given my lengthy association with all of these accounts, that most of them would be there for the taking.
My biggest fear is that of becoming too busy. I have the equipment for Residential and small commercial, and I think I will take it a little slow at first. I am taking as many IICRC classes as I can and becoming certified before I leap into anything too big. UFT this week in Langhorn.
