My thoughts on Mytee

The last month, I've been on a search for a solid portable unit at a great price point.

Having never owned a portable unit, I've poked around at different supply house and online sources regarding pricing over various units.

Mytee is the choice for me.

The Mytee line of portables and their versatility of options is brilliant... the speedster series offers the same basic shell with only the components in the base changed, based on the needs and budget of the purchaser.

My choice was the 1005dx and at about $1500, I was not able to find a comparable unit.

I actually found units with less features at TWICE the price :!:

One feature that impressed me right out of the gate was the 2 inch vac port and QD that are the standard of the truckmount industry... no need to carry different hoses for the porty.

I've only demoed several Mytee units, so I realize that longevity and build quality can only be assured over time, but I have to say that I believe the Mytee Corp has an impressive group of machines and options at a price that seems too good to be true.

I have a Mytee here for cleaning the house, 2" vac hose, standard TM QD's, lots of suck, as much as a #4 blower TM on 50' or less and 650 psi pump. I love it.

When the TM can't be used (lots of condo's here)...I love my Mytee porty!

CS is for sure #1....

They may make a few mistakes, or release things a little faster then they should...

BUT

They send you the shit, to fix them or tweak them, free of charge..

in some sense i think its smart to have real world testers (just let them know so they dont freak if it breaks)

That test crap in the ware house is for the birds

The Mytee portables have quickly become our best selling portables.
I think price and quality are both factors.
We've been happy with Mytee's customer service as well. They are good people.
