Painting Over Electrical Receptacles
A condition I encounter constantly during home inspections is electrical receptacles (outlets) that have been painted over. This is a very bad practice and should never be done.

Try different speeds...My odyssey jumps a lot.

It's not a dial but rather the center contraption that mounts the driver to the counter balancer in your manual it shows you how to adjust it with the included wrencheson my Odyssey? thought only On and Off switch? where the speed dial?
My pad are thin and I do have the habit of pushing or pulling the machine to speed things up, and maybe my pads are not wet enough.Jumping isn't a term I would use or am familiar with so you'll need to describe what you're concerned with
Is it possible the bristles from the driver are grabbing the carpet causing it to stall for a brief second
If your pads are too thin or too small that can certainly happen
The Vibe will do that on an elevated floor such as a church floor going up hill. Pushing harder makes it jump. I lower the handle to level it out.
