Ask @John Olson or a chemist from Prochem.

All fiber deep clean has polymers for anti wick anti resoil.

Or you could
Post bonnet everything with a encap

A few years back I post bonnetted everything with encap after prescrub and extraction.

The carpets did look incredible.

I think this is the most precise way to get what Mike is after.

Good pickup Samiam.

I’m not prepared to completely agree with Uncle Larry without more facts, but I will share this:

Some years back John Downey visited with the Steamin Demon, a portable that used high water volume under low pressure that some of you might have used.

We went to a local EMS base that I used for truck mount demos and overall kept clean as a contribution to the community for about 5 years.

Each time I did it, I (over) applied the original Prochem Ultrapac ā€œstinkyā€ Trafficlean and ā€œrinsedā€ with Prochem All Fiber Rinse. No one else ever cleaned the place.

The Steamin Demon had a window, and I was shocked at the white detergent I saw being removed, and how many passes it took to get it to rinse clear.

I learned a lot that day.

So can you leave enough residue with a prespray for encap to work?

Perhaps...
I believe that's because most rinses contain foaming agents that make it difficult to remove the prespray. Put your rinse dilution in a bucket and run hot water in it. If it foams up, you will leave that residue behind. Try it with Procyon or similar and you will see a difference.

I'm using carpet details on all my new first time jobs. No one ever knows what or how the last time it was done. Also do it yourself home owner never tell the truth. So now by not using the regular pre spray it's safer and easier not fighting with the unknown things in the carpets. Now on trash out I still use Cobbs powder no one there to ask or see what is happening. jz.

He is using this prespray on new jobs to limit surprises caused by diy cleaning agents that the customers never admit to using.
On trashed carpets he still uses powermax as long as no one is looking.

Can't you guys read? :D

I like CTI's extreme clean or firestorm. They smell great. Liked the new PC ultrapak. Now I just do a water rinse or a weak emulsifier solution.

Hell I even use extreme as a bonnet cleaner at 2 oz per 5gal of water

Have you seen the crazy dilution for firestorm? It's amazing. Something like .8 ounce per gal.
