I don't see any need for the O rings, they actually make the set hard to mate together

Actually, I won't apologize you'll just have to come to terms with it.

Not harder to mate together, just more secure. But I agree that they are probably not needed - unless your machine is weak.

I used mine today without the O rings since mine also didn't have them.

The Double Swivel is nice though. Even without the O Rings they hook together snugly at this point. I will be very curious as to how the 2.5" perform since we use all 2.5" accept for 16' lead hoses.

Thanks John for the Sample!

i recieved a shipment of orings today!!! want to see if there is a difference in performance or overall ease of use.

I got them too. I tried them out. The definitely make it seal but harder to tighten. Most definitely would ever come apart for the guys on the fence. I only tried 1 o-ring. I may need to eat my Wheaties if I try 2 o-rings..... shiteatinggrin

Same here I just got a envelope of O-rings.

Edit: I received the Cuff Lynx in the mail today, I guess the O-rings just beat it here.

The quality is excellent these cuffs lock very tight even with out the o-rings. The packaging was nice too, reminds me a little of apples packing. Nice touch.

I sprayed a little teflon lube inside of mine.

Seems to help quite a bit for taking them apart.

Do these cuffs get rid of the" flow by joe "air leak. Meaning, when you put the wand on the carpet, can you hear the cuff leaking or loosing vac.

With both o-rings on there is no way these cuffs are leaking. Mine works fine without the O-ring.

John ,

I would like to publicly thank you for sending out samples of your Cuff Lynks.

(It seems you sent out FAR more than you offered to.)

Mine work great!!

I lubed the O-rings a little to help with the break in.

As a sugestion, I think that if the small outer ring had a few ridges, a small space, a few ridges and so forth.

It would be easier to apply the force needed loosen and lighten the cuffs.

Maybe I'm a whimp, But, when it gets up to 2" or even larger I think it would help.

As a note;

If you have a weblink for these cuffs. I'll post a review of them on FaceBook for you, to help reward your generosity.

We like them. Switching everything over once all the parts are available. 2.5 to 2, 2 to 1.5 and ends for 2" and 1.5" tools.
