What is a good but relatively inexpensive orbital/variable speed tool for agitating upholstery?
I would love to let a machine do all the work!
Something that would not be too rough on any type of fabric but gently agitate before extracting.

What pads do you use with that? I saw something like that at Pep Boys but it has specific wax application cloths, it wasn't for upholstery.
I will have to go check it out.
I was checking out the Roto brush drill attachment from Excellent Supply but shipping is half the cost of the tool. I just shipped a wand today and it cost me only a few more bucks than it would to ship this little brush head! Lol!!!

Those roto brush things for a drill can be had at a janitorial like Hesco for around $5 a piece.

I bought a brush from Excellent Supply and had it shipped over here to Utah. I have loved it. First thing you need to do before you get it all dirty is put it in the drill on low speed and run it through your short hair. Not sure what it will do on long hair, but it feels awesome as a scalp massage. worth every penny for just that purpose. I have really liked it though. I can tell it is quality built. I have used it on upholstery, stairs, my head, encapping chairs, and probably a few other things I cant think of. To me the purchase was worth it.

Lol!! Great! I can see myself trying it on all kinds of things it was not originally intended for! Probably not my head though, my hair is dear to me!

Meh...

Get a green striped Tuway mit..
I've got plenty of those....I'm just trying to get something that will remove as much back work as possible for me.
The less bending, twisting, and impact on my discs and sacral joint the longer I last through the day. For 20-30 bucks it is worth it to me to have a tool that will do the agitation for me.
I'm just going to get the one from Excellent Supply and use it on the ones that really need it.

Get the POS @Able 1 posted.. remove the foam from the base plate and add velcro to it.. get a fiber plus pad if you don't have one and go to town.. Don't use it on the expensive shit, mostly the cheap shit you run across.. If in doubt, use the green striped tuways you already have.. ;)

I use brushes, that POS, hand bonnets, grinder, towels, whatever works..

I use a Ryobi orbital buffer from home depot, about $30. I've had the same one about 5 years works great. I buy cotton elastic band pads from Hesco I believe there's one size at 12"about 4 bucks. it works great agitating upholstery, and stairs.
