Maybe the first ten rows have little tiny white wax drippings, kinda here and there. Over time kinda thing. None thicker than a pencil(.25").

Way toooo many(and time consuming) for an iron and towel. Is there a way to accomplish this chemically? Without damage? I'm sure the small ones should come out with some agitation. It's just drops...

The idea of steaming them out 250' from the truck with a stair tool on upholstery that's not dirty seems unnecessary. It's also more than likely wool, thick wool, nice stuff.

Also, stair tool obviously the way to go for church pews?

wax melts at a low temperature so just hot water will remove it. I would just set up and get it done.

Sorry Gene, I'm cleaning everything(entire pew). Just looking to speed this up(like 70 long) pews. Hoping for a product that will work if steam and a stair tool don't. 250' away, I'm not getting super hot.

It will be no matter what you use. Sorry!

Any volatile solvent will work on wax. Its still slow. Scraping will use less product but is one more step.

If you use heat, the wax better be white (no color) as you will set it otherwise. Most definitely on wool and naturals.

Just did a church again last week.

This made faster work of the wax drops

And we like on paint removal

Quest Graffiti Gone

Have to find on Amazon but make sure when buying look for case of 12. One place comes in cheaper but only 6 in their case.

Have tried others and this still works best for us...

You guys use a stair tool on the pews? What kind? Glide necessary?

Great product.

Yes...we use stair tool with hybrid, but could be any glide I guess....

We hit all the large areas with stair tool...and TM set at 300 psi with our modified dual jet swivel head PMF wand....

Then we will trim out the edges with a hand tool as needed....

Personally I can't stand smelling solvent. it only takes 140 deg. water to melt most wax. Surely your machine can make that. You can prep it with some kind of solvent jell so I will come out easier.

Freeze it?

Goo gone. Pretreat spots with it and they might slide right off when you get to them.

The solvent smell with some of the products mentioned would be overwhelming and with some (the smell) will last for a while.
Therefore, unless you consider that your signature scent, I'd be careful.
