I bought a windtrax accumulator once and I think they are suited to higher pressures not the 450-600 psi most of us run. the truck mount accumulators I have seen are all charged to 250 psi, the windtrax units are much higher. I tried letting some air out of mine and it never worked quite right. getting the correct one from john at superior fixed my issues.

Steve you're suppose to charge them to half the operating pressure when you charge them.

If you charged it full then that could have been the problem. ??

You can rebuild them but make sure that you clean all the corrosion out of them before you put a new bladder in them or it will puncture and leak.

It's Terry..............he has the money but hates to part with it!

Especially when he has high end cigars and booze he would rather buy. :p

mine came precharged so what I did was watch my unit while it was running and kept letting air out till the pulsation smoothed out. it never worked right, just bit the bullet and had john sell me the correct one.
