Been thinking it would be a fun weekend project to build a diverter valve, but too many weekends have come and gone.

ITT (John's Hot Heat Exchangers) builds them (Don's still there). Where do yall get yours?

Much obliged.

Thanks, Fred. It appears the Blue Baron diverter is a single-valve design, using the blower exhaust to pull engine exhaust into the blower silencer. I think ITT's dual-valve design would work better on my machine, so I can route the engine exhaust into a Y upstream of the engine exhaust muffler.

Also seems not all the engine exhaust could be routed into the exchanger in the Blue Baron design because the tee is upstream of the valve.

Ordered one from Don at ITT (John's Hot Heat Exchangers). 727-581-1700.

ITT's 1.25" dual valve is $300 (1" is $250) vs. Blue Baron's single-valve "on sale" for $429. The construction of ITT's seems much more robust than Blue Baron's.
